My Approach to Health & Wellness

My approach to health and wellness is simple and effective. I break it down into three areas:

1. FROM THE INSIDE OUT

475Unfortunately, a lot of us wear our feelings and unhealthy food behaviors in the form of extra weight. And it makes us unhappy, uncomfortable and we feel ashamed. So we focus on getting that “outside” taken care of quickly, without addressing what is driving us to overeat. This all-too-common oversight is the reason the weight comes right back. Part of my wellness plan is identifying physical, emotional and environmental triggers that contribute to negative food relationships. This approach is crucial for lifetime weight management and optimal health.

2. KEEP IT SIMPLE

healthy-food-stocksThere are so many health trends out there it can make your head spin. For some reason, a lot of us seem to gravitate toward the “diet du jour”. But solid facts and statistics have proven over and over that diets just don’t work. They sure didn’t work for me – all they did was create a false sense that I had it all under control. But that “control” was an illusion, and it was temporary. My whole food approach is a sustainable, permanent solution to weight management, wellness and bad eating habits. This will provide you with the biggest “bang for your buck”, so every bite you put into your mouth works FOR you, not against you, providing you with clean, healthy fuel to give you maximum energy, without dieting.

3. ONGOING SUPPORT

Since this isn’t a diet, but a permanent lifestyle, it is important that we work together to create a program that is sustainable for you and that you get the support you need ongoing.
